It should not have surprised me but it did. I have visited many book shops looking for a decent literature on the theme. I supposed I didn’t really look for them as I thought building a chicken coop would be too hard for me. When you use proper plans it will not make you any problems.

From what I have learnt, chicken coop sizes are divided into 3 groups:

Portable Chicken Coops

If you do not have a huge garden, small chicken coop is what you need. Small chicken coops are very easy to build, however the main problem is that can hold only three chickens maximum, if you have more, you should choose a bigger chicken coop. But not everybody is lucky enough to have space! The thing is, that if you chickens do not have enough space they will not give you so many eggs, this is another disadvantage of small chicken coops.

Medium sized Chicken Coops

For those of us, who want to rise about five chickens, medium chicken coops is the best decision, it can give your chickens all what they need. It’s not so easy to move the medium sized chicken coop so make sure you position it well. Chicken Coop Design

Premium Chicken Coops

Well, this was my choice, big chicken coops are ideal for people who do not lack free space and want their chickens to be healthy. What I really like about this type of chicken coop is that chickens bring your eggs like crazy, if you have a big family or want to sell eggs, you found what you need… Do you want your chickens to be happy, healthy and get hundreds of egg? No questions – this type of chicken coop is what you need, your chickens will feel themselves in heaven there.
